Hey there! I’m Jessica and I’m SO happy you made it here!
I’m an Upstate NY native from Rochester and now live in the Finger Lakes region based in Ithaca, NY. I am happily married to my wonderful husband & have a Sheepadoodle named Luna. We welcomed our daughter in December 2025. When I'm not working, you can catch me adventuring outside, spending time with friends/family, & traveling to new places! Outside of photography, I work as an acute care Occupational Therapist & specialize in stroke rehabilitation.
My Purpose
Though I’ve always loved documenting the solitude I strive to find outdoors, there’s something so meaningful about sharing that passion with other people and to allow that happy, unexplainable feeling to flourish in the hearts of those celebrating this thing we call life. To me, and said beautifully by Elliott Erwitt, "photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place." I strongly feel that photographs should elicit the same feelings and emotions you experience in that very same moment they are captured, in whatever stage of life you are in, allowing you to cherish it for a lifetime.
I’m always learning something new every day - about photography, about myself, about life. One of my favorite words, derived from the Greek language, is Meraki |may-rah-kee|. It means “to do something with soul, creativity, or love; to put something of yourself into your work” and I feel that is exactly what I strive to do in my professional life, as well as behind the camera. My "empath" personality truly allows me to be more attuned to the emotions of others and to work with you rather than work for you.
My photography journey is about connection, spontaneity, creativity, gratitude - with myself behind the lens and with others in front of it to capture real, raw moments of life. I’m dedicated to providing an experience that is comfortable, natural, meaningful and enjoyable to add valuable moments to your life story.
